Check-in
Check-in is the process by which people announce their arrival at an office, hotel, airport, hospital, port or event. In our industry, it is of course related to checking in to stay at a selected accommodation facility (hotel, guesthouse, apartment, etc.).
The opposite of check-in is check-out.
