We understand that every operation has its own specifics. Sometimes you need time to prepare before a guest arrives; other times you need time to clean after they leave. That’s why we’ve added a new feature to Gatekeeper to make everything easier.
What are time offsets and why are they useful?
A time offset is simply an automatic time buffer that you set before the start or after the end of each reservation. Gatekeeper then automatically extends each reservation by this time – no manual adjustments needed.
How to set it up?
Setup is quick and easy. In the app, open the relevant settings via the pencil icon in the bottom-right corner. The offset is configured directly on the Gatekeeper device, so the change is automatically applied to all reservations globally – no further setup required.
What does this mean in practice?
In practice, it means you no longer need to monitor gaps between bookings or create custom reservations. You set the offset once, and the system takes care of the rest. Whether you need 10 minutes for preparation, cleaning time, or a smooth handover, everything runs seamlessly and stress-free.
